Tradeify changed its offer in 2026 at exactly the points that matter to a trader. The old Advanced challenge is no longer sold. Growth and Select are now two different evaluations with different prices and rules; on August 31, 2026, the German version of this review still recorded the same price for both. And for Select accounts bought from September 1, 2026, the Flex payout caps fell on the 50K to 150K accounts, while the Daily caps rose on 50K and 100K. If you read an older review, you may be looking at prices and rules that no longer apply.

For this review we read Tradeify’s own sources on October 31, 2026. That means the pricing page on tradeify.co, more than 20 articles in the Tradeify help center, the trader statistics in the small print of the home page and the Trustpilot profile. We did not buy an account for this version, and we have no business relationship with Tradeify. How we research and write is described on our editorial policy page.

Tradeify in 30 seconds

  • Overall: a US futures prop firm from Boca Raton, Florida, that sells simulated accounts from $25,000 to $150,000 for a one-time fee. You keep 90 percent of the profit you withdraw.
  • Cost: the cheapest way in is the Growth 25K evaluation at $99. Select starts at $109, and Lightning, which skips the test, costs $345 to $796. On October 31, 2026, a discount code took 30 percent off.
  • Payouts are capped: on a 150K Lightning account you need $9,000 of profit to unlock the first payout, but you can withdraw at most $3,000 of it.
  • Success rate in the small print: by Tradeify’s own figures, 17.2 percent of evaluation accounts were passed, and 28.5 percent of traders at the funded level received a payout.
  • Drawdown: the limit only moves up at the end of the day, but it is enforced in real time. If your account value touches it during the day, the account is closed.
  • Markets: CME Group futures only, plus some EUREX contracts on Tradovate. No stocks, no spot forex, no crypto futures.

What is Tradeify?

Tradeify is a US prop trading firm that sells futures traders simulated accounts and pays out 90 percent of the profits they withdraw. The company is Tradeify Holdings, Corp. in Boca Raton, Florida. Its founder and CEO is Brett Simberkoff, according to the help center. The firm calls itself a futures prop firm; under the same brand it now also runs a crypto perpetuals offer and a new forex offer on separate websites. This review covers the futures accounts only.

A funded account is a trading account on which a trader uses a prop firm’s capital and receives a share of the profit. At Tradeify the funded accounts are simulated: your orders are not sent to the market, but the payouts are real money. Only the Elite Live stage, which Tradeify offers to selected traders, uses real capital.

You can reach a funded account in two ways. You pass a short evaluation (Growth or Select), or you pay more for Lightning Funded and start in the funded stage at once. All three are one-time purchases; there is no monthly subscription.

How many traders actually get paid?

Tradeify answers this question itself, in the small print at the bottom of its home page. The figures cover August 2025 to July 2026, calculated on August 9, 2026, and include the Growth, Advanced and Select evaluations. Lightning accounts are not part of them.

  • 17.2 percent of the evaluation accounts that were started were passed.
  • 40.3 percent of participants reached the funded level with at least one evaluation. The median participant bought three evaluations or resets in that period.
  • 28.5 percent of participants at the funded level received a payout.
  • 3.0 percent of participants with a funded account were called up to a live funded account.

Put the two participant figures together and the picture is clear. Of 100 people who started a Growth, Advanced or Select evaluation in that period, about 40 reached a funded account, and of those, a bit more than one in four was paid. That is roughly 11.5 out of 100 evaluation participants who received a payout within the reported twelve months. Lightning buyers are not included, and few prop firms publish such figures at all.

The three programs and their prices

Tradeify sells three programs, and each one has its own rules. Growth is the fast and cheap evaluation, Select the evaluation with a choice of payout path, and Lightning the instant account without a test. These are list prices from the help center on October 31, 2026.

Three ways to a Tradeify funded account
  1. Simulated, you pay onceGrowth, Select or LightningGrowth and Select: reach the profit target without touching the drawdown. Lightning: no test, higher price, no resets.
  2. Simulated, Tradeify paysSim Funded accountReal payouts, 90/10 split, capped per request. Up to five accounts.
  3. Real capitalElite LiveOnly after selection by Tradeify. Starts at a $0 balance, 80/20 split.

Tradeify help center, Tradeify Pricing Reference and Tradeify Elite Program, read October 31, 2026.

Growth: pass in one day

Growth is the cheapest program and the only one you can pass in a single trading day. It has no consistency rule in the evaluation, but it has a Daily Loss Limit. Hitting that limit stops trading until the next session; it does not end the account.

Account Price Profit target Drawdown Daily Loss Limit
25K $99 $1,500 $1,000 $600
50K $145 $3,000 $2,000 $1,250
100K $255 $6,000 $3,500 $2,500
150K $369 $9,000 $5,000 $3,750

Growth evaluation, one-time price. A reset costs $60, $95, $169 or $229. Maximum position 1, 4, 8 or 12 mini contracts (10 micros count as one mini). Tradeify help center, Pricing Reference and GROWTH Evaluation Accounts, read October 31, 2026.

Select: three days, then a choice of payout path

Select costs a little more, needs at least three trading days and has no Daily Loss Limit in the evaluation. Instead, a 40 percent consistency rule applies: your best day may be at most 40 percent of your total profit. For a higher price you can buy a 50 percent add-on, which lets you pass in two days.

Account Price Reset Profit target Drawdown
25K $109 $75 $1,500 $1,000
50K $165 $109 $3,000 $2,000
100K $265 $169 $6,000 $3,000
150K $369 $239 $9,000 $4,500

Select evaluation with the standard 40 percent consistency rule. With the 50 percent add-on: $135, $205, $329 and $459. At most 15 Select evaluations per 30 days. Tradeify help center, Pricing Reference and SELECT vs Growth, read October 31, 2026.

When you activate a passed Select account, you choose between two payout paths, and the choice is permanent. Select Daily lets you request a payout every day, with a Daily Loss Limit and a smaller cap. Select Flex pays out every five winning days, with no Daily Loss Limit and a larger cap. Neither path has a consistency rule once you are funded.

Lightning: funded at once, at a higher price

Lightning Funded skips the evaluation, and you pay about 2.2 to 3.5 times as much as for a Growth evaluation of the same size. After payment the simulated funded account is open at once. There is no reset: if the account fails, you buy a new one.

Account Price Drawdown Daily Loss Limit Max contracts
25K $345 $1,000 none 1 mini / 10 micros
50K $492 $2,000 $1,250 4 minis / 40 micros
100K $660 $4,000 $2,500 8 minis / 80 micros
150K $796 $5,250 $3,000 12 minis / 120 micros

Lightning Funded, one-time price. Once the account is 6 percent in profit, the Daily Loss Limit rises to the size of the drawdown from the next session. Tradeify help center, Pricing Reference and Lightning Funded Accounts, read October 31, 2026.

On the largest account, Lightning costs more than twice as much as a Growth evaluation. A 150K Lightning account is $796, a 150K Growth evaluation $369. You save the evaluation, which on Growth can take a single day. One possible reason to pay more is that you would otherwise expect to need several resets.

Discounts, fees and refunds

Tradeify advertises discount codes on its website. On October 31, 2026, the code on the website took 30 percent off: a 150K Growth evaluation dropped from $369 to $258, a 150K Lightning account from $796 to $557. On August 31, 2026, the German version of this review recorded another code that cut the 150K Lightning account to $478. Five identical Growth or Select accounts of 25K or 50K bought together get another 5 percent.

Beyond the purchase price, three costs remain. There is no activation fee after you pass. Commissions are charged on every trade: a round turn costs $5.76 for the E-mini S&P 500 or Nasdaq 100 and $1.82 for the micros, so ten micros cost more than one mini. Market data is free if you sign the non-professional data agreement at your first Tradovate login. And all sales are final: Tradeify gives no refunds, not even for a failed account.

Rules: drawdown, daily loss limit and trading hours

Four rules decide most outcomes at Tradeify. They are the trailing drawdown, the Daily Loss Limit, the consistency rule and the daily flat by 4:45 PM ET rule.

The drawdown: updated at the close, enforced all day

Tradeify’s drawdown moves up only at the end of the day, but it is enforced in real time. Your limit trails your highest closing balance and never moves down. During the day it is checked against your net liquidation value, that is your balance plus open profit or loss. If that value touches the limit at any moment, the account fails at once, even if the market turns and you close the day in profit.

This is the point most often misread as “intraday moves don’t count”. They do count. “End of day” only describes when the limit is moved up, not when it applies. Tradeify’s own example: a 25K account with a floor of $24,000 that drops to $22,000 at 10:15 AM has failed, even if it closes at $25,500. Our guide to prop firm drawdown explains the difference between calculating and enforcing a limit with real trades.

On funded accounts the limit locks once you are far enough in profit. When your closing profit exceeds the drawdown amount by $100, or when you request a payout, whichever comes first, the floor locks at $100 above the starting balance. On a 50K account it locks at $50,100 once the closing balance reaches $52,100. Evaluation accounts do not lock.

The Daily Loss Limit: a pause, not the end

The Daily Loss Limit stops trading for the rest of the session, but the account stays open. You can trade again from 6:00 PM ET. It applies to Growth, Lightning and Select Daily, not to Select Flex or the Select evaluation. Tradeify warns not to use it as a stop loss: in a fast market the loss can run past the limit, and if it reaches the drawdown, the account is lost.

Watch which limit is closer. If the drawdown floor is nearer than the Daily Loss Limit, you hit the drawdown first. On a 100K Growth account with a $3,500 drawdown, a highest closing balance of $101,000 puts the floor at $97,500. At a balance of $99,000 only $1,500 is left before the floor, less than the $2,500 daily limit. (Tradeify’s own version of this example says $2,000, which does not match its own numbers.)

The consistency rule

The consistency rule limits how much of your profit may come from a single day. Your best day divided by your total profit must not be above the limit. If it is, you cannot request a payout yet, but you can keep trading. The limits are:

  • Select evaluation: 40 percent (50 percent with the add-on), only during the test.
  • Growth funded: 35 percent for every payout.
  • Lightning funded: 20 percent for the first payout, 25 percent for the second and 30 percent from the third.
  • Select funded (Daily and Flex): no consistency rule.

A worked example shows why a big day slows you down. On a 150K Lightning account after the first payout, the next goal is $4,500 and the limit is 25 percent. Your best day may therefore bring at most $1,125. Four days of about $1,125 meet the rule exactly. If you make $4,500 in one day, you have to keep trading until that day is no more than a quarter of the total. Strategies with few large winners run into this rule again and again; steady day trading fits it better.

Trading hours: flat every day

Every position must be closed by 4:45 PM ET, on every account type including Live. A Tradeify trading day runs from 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET, so you may hold a position through the night within one session, but not through the daily close, the maintenance break or the weekend. If you forget, Tradeify closes the position for you; that does not fail the account, but the fill may be poor. On shortened holiday sessions the deadline is 12:59 PM ET. Our page on futures market hours lists the regular CME sessions.

News, hedging and short trades

News trading is allowed without restrictions. There are no blocked windows around central bank decisions or economic data. Two other rules matter more. Hedging is banned, including across your own accounts: long ES on one account and short NQ on another counts as a violation. And on funded accounts the microscalping rule applies: more than half of your trades and more than half of your profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds, or you cannot request a payout.

How do Tradeify payouts work?

Tradeify has two different numbers that are easy to mix up. The first is the profit goal (or minimum balance) that unlocks a payout request. The second is the maximum payout, the most you can take out with that request. The second is much smaller, and the rest of the profit stays in the account.

Bar chart of Tradeify Lightning Funded accounts from 25K to 150K. The profit goal for the first payout is $1,500, $3,000, $6,000 and $9,000. The most you can withdraw on that payout is $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 and $3,000Click to enlarge
Lightning Funded, first payout: the profit goal unlocks the request, the cap limits the amount. On the 150K account you need $9,000 of profit to withdraw at most $3,000; the rest stays in the account. Own graphic, figures before the 90/10 split, read October 31, 2026.

Lightning payouts

On Lightning, the first profit goal is the highest, and the payout cap stays low. There is no separate minimum number of trading days, but the 20 percent consistency rule for the first payout means you need at least five profitable days of similar size before you can request it. After each payout the counter goes back to zero: profit above the cap does not count towards the next goal.

Account Goal 1st payout Goal from 2nd Cap payouts 1 to 3 Cap from 4th
25K $1,500 $1,000 $1,000 $1,000
50K $3,000 $2,000 $2,000 $2,500
100K $6,000 $3,500 $2,500 $3,000
150K $9,000 $4,500 $3,000 $3,500

Lightning Funded, accounts bought after September 12, 2025. Minimum payout $1,000, so the 25K account always pays exactly $1,000. Tradeify help center, Lightning Funded: Account Payout Policy, read October 31, 2026.

Growth payouts

On Growth, a minimum balance and five profitable days unlock the payout. The balance must reach $26,500, $53,000, $104,500 or $156,500, and you need five days with a profit of at least $100, $150, $200 or $250 since the last payout. The 35 percent consistency rule also applies.

Account Payout 1 Payout 2 Payout 3 From payout 4
25K $1,000 $1,000 $1,000 $1,000
50K $1,500 $2,000 $2,500 $3,000
100K $2,000 $2,500 $3,000 $4,000
150K $2,500 $3,000 $4,000 $5,000

Maximum payout per request, Growth Funded, accounts bought after September 12, 2025. Minimum payout $250, $500, $1,000 or $1,500. Tradeify help center, Growth Funded: Account Payout Policy, read October 31, 2026.

Tradeify’s own example shows what a payout does to your safety margin. On a 50K Growth account that has reached $53,000, you can take out $1,500. The balance falls to $51,500, and because the floor has locked at $50,100, only $1,400 of room is left before the account fails.

Select payouts: Daily or Flex

Select Daily pays out every day, but only twice the profit made since the last payout and with a low cap. Your balance must stay above a buffer over the starting balance ($1,100, $2,100, $2,600 or $3,600): a request may not take the account into that buffer, so the amount you can take out is the lowest of the cap, twice the new profit and what sits above the buffer. Select Flex pays out after every five winning days, up to 50 percent of your total profit, with a higher cap.

Account Daily: cap per payout Daily: loss limit Flex: cap per payout Flex: winning day from
25K $600 $500 $1,250 $100
50K $1,250 $1,000 $2,500 $150
100K $1,750 $1,250 $3,500 $200
150K $2,500 $1,750 $4,500 $250

Select funded, accounts bought from September 1, 2026. Before that date the caps were $1,000 and $1,500 (Daily, 50K and 100K) and $3,000, $4,000 and $5,000 (Flex, 50K to 150K). Minimum payout $250 on both paths. The Daily path also has a smaller drawdown on 100K and 150K ($2,500 and $3,500). Tradeify help center, Select Flex and Select Daily Payout Policies, read October 31, 2026.

On both Select paths you must be back in profit before the next request. If you lose money after a payout, you first have to earn it back. Only one request can be open per account at a time.

How fast is the money there?

Tradeify advertises payouts in one hour; its payout policies promise less. After approval, the money is sent within 24 hours, for Growth and Select once your account at the payment service Rise is set up. Requests outside business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET) and on US federal holidays can take up to 72 hours. Trustpilot’s AI-generated summary of recent reviews describes payouts as very fast, but the written rule is what you can rely on. Rise pays out to a bank account or a crypto wallet; Plane is offered as a second payout service.

Elite Live: the step to real capital

Tradeify only considers you for real capital after three payouts on one account or ten payouts in total. These are minimum thresholds, not a promise; Tradeify says most traders are not moved live as soon as they reach them. If you are selected, all your simulated accounts close, and every funded account with at least one payout becomes an Elite Live account.

An Elite Live account starts at a $0 balance and splits profits 80/20. No simulated profit is carried over. In return there is no Daily Loss Limit and a reward pool per account of $2,000 to $12,000 (25K to 150K). It is not paid at once: each month you can earn up to $1,000 to $4,500 of it per account, and only if that account had five days with at least $250 profit and ended the month with more profit than its drawdown. If the account is breached, the unpaid rest of its pool is lost. Select traders who kept their consistency score below 40 percent and never used more than 75 percent of the drawdown in the funded stage get 1.5 times that pool, up to $18,000 on a 150K account. Remember the scale from Tradeify’s own figures: 3 percent of funded participants were called up to live.

Platforms and markets

You choose one of three connections at checkout, and you cannot switch later without buying a new account. All three cost the same price, and each one decides which platforms you can use.

  • Tradovate: web and desktop platform; also connects NinjaTrader and TradingView. The only connection with Level 2 data and EUREX contracts, both as paid add-ons from Tradovate.
  • Rithmic: connects Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart (with its own paid subscription) and R|Trader. Not NinjaTrader, not TradingView.
  • WealthCharts: its own platform with a separate login, usable only with WealthCharts.

You can trade only futures. The product list covers equity index futures (ES, NQ, YM, RTY and their micros), energy (crude oil, natural gas), metals (gold, silver, copper, platinum, palladium), six currency futures, grains and livestock, and on Tradovate the German EUREX index and bond futures such as the DAX and Bund. There are no stocks, no spot forex, and no bitcoin or other crypto futures in the list. Micro Silver is not supported either. For small accounts, micro futures make the drawdown easier to manage, but mind the commissions per contract.

Dashboard and journal

The Tradeify dashboard shows balance, profit, Daily Loss Limit and consistency in real time, and the drawdown floor once a day. Because the drawdown figure there only updates at the close, Tradeify recommends watching your real-time distance to the floor in the platform itself (in Tradovate the “Dis Drawdown Net Liq” column). A built-in trading journal is included at no extra cost. If you want to analyse your trades in more depth, a separate trading journal such as TradeZella goes further.

Countries

Tradeify excludes residents of 65 countries. The list includes sanctioned countries such as Russia, Iran and North Korea, but also Turkey, Ukraine, Israel, Bulgaria, Iceland, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan and Vietnam. It is based on where you live, not where you are travelling. The US, the UK, Canada, Australia and most EU countries are not on the list. Accounts are billed and paid in US dollars.

Reviews and reliability

On October 31, 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.5 of 5 from 6,473 reviews. The distribution is split: 84.8 percent give five stars, 8.9 percent one star, and the three middle ratings together only 6.4 percent. The German version of this review recorded 4.5 from 4,204 reviews on August 31, 2026, so the number of reviews has grown by half in two months.

Two facts belong next to that score. Tradeify has claimed its Trustpilot profile since September 2024, pays for a Trustpilot subscription and invites customers to review it. Trustpilot also shows that Tradeify replied to 96 percent of negative reviews. Both are common and not a problem on their own, but invited reviews are a different sample from reviews written unprompted. Review scores are self-selected; the success rates in Tradeify’s own small print say more about your chances.

Trustpilot’s own AI-generated summary of recent reviews names fast payouts and active support as the main positives. We did not analyse a sample of reviews ourselves, so we cannot rank the complaints. Check the consistency rule and the payout caps before buying.

Is Tradeify legit?

We found no signs of dishonest conduct. The rules are public and dated in a detailed help center, prices are visible without an account, payouts run through established payment services, and Tradeify publishes its own success rates, which few prop firms do. A related company, Tradeify Brokerage LLC (trading as Slay Markets), is registered with the CFTC as an introducing broker and is an NFA member (NFA ID 0575972); that is a separate brokerage offer, not the prop program.

Two limits belong to an honest answer. Tradeify is a young firm without a long record across different market phases, and the website’s own numbers are not always consistent: the home page claims “100,000+” traders in one place and “80,000+” in another. More important: you trade simulated accounts. There is no deposit protection, no financial regulator for the prop program and no claim to a brokerage account. What you buy is a place in a company program, not an investment. The help center already keeps separate rules for accounts bought before September 12, 2025 and before September 1, 2026.

Pros and cons of Tradeify

Pros

  • Three ways in: a one-day evaluation, a three-day evaluation with a choice of payout path, or an instant funded account.
  • One-time fees: no monthly subscription, no activation fee after passing.
  • Detailed, dated help center: prices, limits and caps are public, with worked examples.
  • Published success rates: pass rate, payout rate and live call-up rate in the small print.
  • No news restrictions: trading around central bank decisions and data releases is allowed.
  • Select without Daily Loss Limit: the Select evaluation and Select Flex never pause your trading after a bad day.

Cons

  • Payout caps: on a 150K Lightning account $9,000 of profit unlocks at most $3,000.
  • Drawdown in real time: a short intraday dip to the floor ends the account, even with an end-of-day limit.
  • Consistency rule slows big winners: one large day delays the payout on Growth and Lightning.
  • Lightning is expensive: more than twice the price of a Growth evaluation on the 150K account.
  • No refunds: all sales are final, and Lightning accounts cannot be reset.
  • Futures only, flat every day: no stocks, spot forex or crypto futures, no positions past 4:45 PM ET.
  • Rules change by purchase date: caps and limits differ for accounts bought before September 12, 2025 and before September 1, 2026.

Who Tradeify fits and who should avoid it

  • Good fit for: futures day traders with a tested strategy and even daily results, who are flat every afternoon and want to take smaller amounts out regularly. Growth is the cheapest route; Select fits if you want daily payouts or no Daily Loss Limit.
  • Not a fit for: beginners still looking for a strategy, swing traders, traders who make most of their profit on a few big days, and anyone who wants stocks, forex or crypto. Also not for anyone who plans with a fixed monthly income from one large account: the cap of the first payout applies however good the month was.

Alternatives to Tradeify

Tradeify competes with several US futures prop firms, and each one has a different rulebook. On this site we have reviewed Topstep, which charges a monthly fee for its Trading Combine and also publishes its statistics, Take Profit Trader, and Bulenox, which also sells an account without a test. Our prop trading overview compares further firms.

Before choosing, compare three things. How the loss limit moves and when it locks, how much the first payout really is, and what each attempt costs including resets. Good risk management matters more for the result than the choice of firm.

Our verdict: transparent rules, tight payouts

Tradeify is one of the more transparent futures prop firms in 2026. The help center documents every limit with dates and examples, prices are visible without an account, and the firm publishes its own success rates. That openness is the real difference to many competitors, more than the speed of payouts.

The weak points are the payout caps and the pace of change. On the large accounts you earn far more than you can take out with the first request, and a payout leaves a thin cushion above the floor. Between August 31 and October 31, 2026, Growth got its own prices and rules and the Select caps changed, so read the current help center articles on the day you buy.

In short: a fair and well documented test, not a shortcut to a trading income. By Tradeify’s own figures for August 2025 to July 2026, about 11.5 in 100 evaluation participants received a payout in that period, and only 3 in 100 traders with a funded account were called up to live; Lightning buyers are not in these figures. If you have a strategy and trade it with discipline, the rules are clear. If you are still looking for one, the fees are likely to be lost.

This review describes Tradeify’s rules and costs; it is not investment advice. Futures trading carries a high risk of loss, and we do not earn a commission from Tradeify.

Frequently asked questions about Tradeify

Is Tradeify legit?

Tradeify is a US company with public, dated rules and published success rates, and its funded accounts are simulated. It is run by Tradeify Holdings, Corp. in Boca Raton, Florida. Payouts in real money are made from simulated accounts; only the Elite Live stage trades real capital. The prop program is not a regulated financial product.

What is Tradeify Lightning Funded?

Lightning Funded is Tradeify’s instant funding account: you skip the evaluation and start in the funded stage at once. It costs $345 to $796, has no profit target to pass, but has a progressive consistency rule (20, 25, then 30 percent) and payout caps. It cannot be reset.

How much can I withdraw from Tradeify at once?

Less than the profit goal suggests, because every payout is capped. On Lightning the cap for the first three payouts is $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 or $3,000 by account size; on Growth the first payout is capped at $1,000 to $2,500. The profit above the cap stays in the account. You keep 90 percent of each payout.

Does Tradeify have an intraday drawdown?

The drawdown only moves up at the end of the day, but it is enforced in real time. If your balance plus open profit or loss touches the floor at any moment during the session, the account fails, even if it recovers before the close.

Can I hold positions overnight at Tradeify?

Only within one trading session; every position must be closed by 4:45 PM ET. A session runs from 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET, so a trade opened in the evening may be held until the next afternoon. Holding through the daily close or over the weekend is not allowed.

No, the futures accounts only allow futures. Currency futures such as the Euro FX are available, but no spot forex, no stocks and no crypto futures. Tradeify runs separate crypto and forex offers on other websites, which this review does not cover.
