TJR is one of the largest trading channels on YouTube, and its free Boot Camp is a common starting point for new day traders. The channel also sells a paid mentorship called Blueprint. This review separates the free lessons from the paid offer and from the lifestyle marketing around both.
We did not buy Blueprint and we are not TJR customers. We reviewed the sales page, terms of service, disclosures, YouTube data and Trustpilot’s profile on 5 November 2026. For the Boot Camp we checked titles, dates and samples, and we did not watch every episode. We have no business relationship with TJR.

The free Boot Camp: what it covers
The Boot Camp playlist mixes mindset episodes with price action concepts. Episodes appeared almost daily from 26 May 2023. The feed we could read lists the first 15 episodes, so we cannot state the total number.
| Episode | Topic | Our link for background |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Take action | none |
| Day 2 | Candlesticks | candlestick charts |
| Day 3 | Discipline | none |
| Day 4 | Trends | none |
| Day 6 | Break of structure | none |
| Days 8, 10, 12 | Liquidity | liquidity sweeps |
| Day 11 | How to take a loss | none |
| Day 13 | Risk management | risk management |
| Day 14 | Fair value gaps | fair value gaps |
The audience for it is clearly large. Day 1 runs 55 minutes and had about 5.7 million views on 5 November 2026. By Day 15 the figure was about 530,000, which is a common pattern in a long series, though views do not show how many people finished or learned from it.
Expect an informal format. In the transcript samples we read from Days 1 and 13, the host uses strong language and speaks casually, which may not suit every viewer. The series dates from 2023, so check that any platform or rule detail still applies. Current video descriptions also promote the paid Blueprint.
Free lessons do not prove the method works for you. We did not test the concepts statistically. Before risking money, write the rules down, test them on a simulator and judge your own sample of trades. Our backtesting guide shows the limits of that test.
Blueprint: what we could and could not find
Blueprint is sold through an application form, and the sales page we checked showed no price. The TJR website presents it as a mentorship and a “3-skill system”. It speaks of helping traders reach the “top 2%”, and of 5,000+ traders becoming profitable. We found no supporting data for those statements on that page.
The same page carries strong limits in its small print. It says top testimonials do not represent typical results and that day trading is risky. It also says the company makes no promise that you will not lose money. Read both parts together, not just the headline.
Ask for the full cost in writing before you commit. We could not check the syllabus, feedback or access period. Our guide to trading courses lists the questions to ask, and the disclosures warn about using borrowed money to pay for training.
What the disclosures say about results
The disclosures say the company does not track monetary results. Instead, it surveys customers on value and satisfaction and reports typical ratings above 4.7 out of 5 on Whop. A satisfaction score measures how customers feel, not whether they made money.
Some video titles name large sums. Recent examples include “My $850,370 Week In Italy” and “5 Tips That Made Me 20 Million At 24”. We found no audited record behind such titles on the pages we checked, and we did not test them. We do not claim they are false, only that titles are not evidence of what a student can expect.
Regulators give the wider context. The sales page itself links to the US SEC’s note on day trading risks and says most day traders lose. Our day trading guide covers the same risks.
Terms: subscriptions, refunds and arbitration
The terms of service are strict, so read them against the offer you receive. Monthly subscriptions require at least ten days’ notice of cancellation, and the terms name both email and the account dashboard as routes. With shorter notice, your card may still be charged, and the terms exclude proration or refunds for subscription payments.
Section 6 of the general terms covers refunds for hard goods. Books and other tangible products may qualify for a limited refund if requested within 30 days and returned in resalable condition. The sales page also links a separate returns document, which we could not open. So get the terms for your offer in writing before paying.
The terms generally require individual arbitration in San Juan, subject to stated exceptions. They describe final, confidential binding arbitration, waive jury trials and class actions, and apply the law of Puerto Rico. They also say the site is intended for adults who operate a business, which is worth noticing if you buy as a private person.
TJR reviews: what Trustpilot shows
Trustpilot’s TJR profile showed no rating on 5 November 2026. Its notice said the rating was unavailable because of a breach of guidelines, and that it had removed a number of fake reviews for the company. The profile listed 23 reviews.
That notice does not tell us who wrote the removed reviews. Treat it as a reason to rely less on star ratings here, on this and other sites. We did not use forum claims in this review.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
- Cost of entry: the Boot Camp and many lessons are free on YouTube
- Coverage: the first 15 episodes mix price action, risk and mindset
- Disclosure: the company states that it does not track monetary results
Limits
- Price: none shown on the Blueprint sales page we checked
- Evidence: no audited results or supporting data found on the pages we checked
- Reviews: no Trustpilot rating available on 5 November 2026
- Contract: arbitration clause naming San Juan and strict subscription cancellation rules
- Tone: lifestyle marketing and informal language
Who is TJR for?
TJR’s free videos suit people who want to explore price action concepts at no cost and can separate lessons from marketing. Paid mentorship is a different decision. Compare it with the other formats in our trading education guide, and with a structured learning sequence. For context: Kagels Trading also sells trading education, so we have a commercial interest in this market.
Frequently asked questions about TJR
Is the TJR Boot Camp free?
Yes, the Boot Camp playlist is free to watch on YouTube. It began in May 2023. Current video descriptions also promote the paid Blueprint mentorship.
How much does TJR Blueprint cost?
We found no price on the Blueprint sales page on 5 November 2026. The page leads to an application form. Ask for the full cost and refund terms in writing before committing.
Does TJR publish student results?
The company’s disclosure says it does not track monetary results. It relies on satisfaction surveys, and it says testimonials may not be typical.
Is TJR legit?
We can confirm a named company, published terms and a large channel, but not trading results. We did not test Blueprint, and we found no audited results on the pages we checked. Judge the offer on its written terms, not on its marketing.
Why does TJR have no Trustpilot rating?
Trustpilot said on 5 November 2026 that the rating was unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines. It also said it had removed a number of fake reviews. It gave no further detail on that page about who wrote them.
