Do you want a clear chart read on the market before the opening bell, every trading day, for free? That is what Verified Investing delivers on YouTube. Its chief market strategist, Gareth Soloway, goes through stocks, gold, oil and Bitcoin with support and resistance levels, trend lines and concrete trade ideas. Several shows run each day, from the morning game plan to the evening recap.
I watch these free shows myself, and I like them. In this review I explain who Gareth Soloway is, what the free content offers, what the paid products cost and what the word “verified” really means. I have not tested the paid trading room or the alerts; I describe them from the public product pages. We have no business relationship with Verified Investing and use no affiliate links. At the end you find my personal take: Karsten’s Pick.
Verified Investing in 30 seconds
- What it is: a US trading education company with free daily YouTube shows and paid trade alerts, a live day trading room and courses.
- Who leads it: Gareth Soloway, chief market strategist and co-founder, who has traded his own money since 2004.
- Free content: around four live shows each trading day, plus articles, heat maps and calendars on the website.
- Paid: the live day trading room costs $250 to $400 a month; day and week passes exist.
- Our view: the free shows offer clear daily chart analysis with exact levels; we found no publicly available independent audit of the track record.
Who is Gareth Soloway? From adviser to full-time trader
Gareth Soloway is a swing trader, day trader and technical analyst from the United States. According to his official profile, he studied economics and financial markets at Binghamton University and first worked as a financial adviser. In 2004 he left the industry to trade his own capital. On his YouTube channel he describes himself as having more than 27 years of trading experience.
In 2007 he founded InTheMoneyStocks together with Nicholas Santiago. The company later became Verified Investing. His profile names a rules-based approach called the PPT Methodology, which combines price patterns, technical levels, probabilities and risk. Gareth is also a regular guest on Kitco, where he has discussed gold, Bitcoin and the stock market since at least 2022.
His style is easy to recognize. He starts with the chart, not with the news. Headlines only matter to him when price confirms them at a key level. The website’s banner sums it up in four words: “All charts, no BS”.
What is Verified Investing? Company, team and products
Verified Investing is a trading education and trade alert company. It sells swing trade alerts for stocks, crypto, commodities and options, a live day trading room, about seven courses and a long-term investing program. Around the paid products, it publishes a large amount of free content.

Gareth works with a team of traders, each with an own focus. Drew Dosek hosted the evening recap on October 20, 2026, Nick Valdez is the chief crypto strategist, Jake Sweeney covers options, and Lawton Ho explains swing setups with the anchored VWAP. If you want to learn that indicator, our guide to the VWAP indicator explains the basics. The company says on its homepage that trading involves substantial risk and that all content is for educational purposes only.
The free YouTube shows: several updates a day
The free shows are the heart of Verified Investing for most viewers. The main channel @verifiedinvesting has about 133,000 subscribers and more than 3,100 videos since November 2022. Gareth’s own channel is even larger, with about 299,000 subscribers and over 54 million views.

For European traders, the morning show is the one to watch. 9:00 a.m. in New York is 3:00 p.m. in Frankfurt for most of the year, half an hour before the US open. You get a fresh read on the S&P 500, the Nasdaq, gold, oil and Bitcoin, usually in about 20 minutes. On top of that, Gareth posts longer analyses on his own channel several times a week, and a second channel, Verified Investing Extra, carries short education clips.
Charts first: how Gareth reads the market
Gareth’s analysis is classic technical analysis without overload. He draws trend lines, marks support and resistance, looks for chart patterns such as bull flags, and names the exact price where his view changes. Indicators play a smaller role than price levels.
This makes his shows a good lesson in applied chart reading. You see the tools that we explain in our guides to support and resistance, trend lines and price action trading, used live on today’s market. The key benefit is the level: instead of a vague “bullish”, you hear the entry zone where a trade is valid and the invalidation level where it is wrong.
Not every target will be hit, and Gareth does not claim that. He often shows a bullish and a bearish path and says which level decides between them. Treat his targets as scenarios, not promises, and check them against your own risk management before you trade them.
Paid products and prices: what the product pages show
The paid products build on the free shows. We have not tested them. The prices below come from the public product page of the Apex Live Day Trading Room, the best-known paid product, checked on October 21, 2026.
| Apex plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Limited Trader | $250 a month | Live stream until the room has closed two trades that day |
| Elite Trader | $400 a month | Full session, unlimited trades, live chat |
| One Day Pass | $50 once | One full day, no auto-renewal |
| One Week Pass | $150 once | One full week, no auto-renewal |

The room runs during US market hours. According to the product page, it is open Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET and on Friday until 11:30 a.m. ET. Gareth Soloway, Drew Dosek, Lawton Ho and Jake Sweeney share their screens, entries and exits. For traders in Europe this means the afternoon and evening, which suits people with a day job only partly.
Besides the room, Verified Investing sells alerts and courses. The Smart Money alerts cover stocks and ETFs, crypto, and commodities and miners; The Options Edge covers options. Courses include Mastering VWAP, 1 Minute Scalpel and Verified Mindset. Prices for these are shown on the individual product pages. Our tip: watch the free shows for a few weeks first. If you like the style, a one-day pass is the cheapest way to test the room.
Right now Verified Investing also runs a trading competition. “Crypto Combat: Rekt or Rich” lets members trade against Gareth and his four colleagues from October 23 to November 13, 2026, with paid entries. The sponsor is the crypto prop firm Bitfunded; what it sells and how the advertised prize pool is made up is explained in our Bitfunded review.
What does “verified” mean? Transparency and its limits
“Verified” is the company name, not an independent audit. In his game plan of October 20, 2026, Gareth says that members can see the live portfolio, profit and loss and position sizes in real time; we have not checked this. We found no publicly available independent audit of the track record, and the website’s disclaimer states that there is “no guarantee” that its traders personally enter every position they share.
Customer reviews are mostly positive, with a clear minority of critics. On Trustpilot, Verified Investing had a score of 3.8 out of 5 from 472 reviews on October 21, 2026: 74 percent five stars and 18 percent one star. Reviewers praise the analysts and the free videos. Critics mention open losing positions, model portfolios instead of funded accounts, the price of the room and refunds. The company replies to most negative reviews.
One more warning comes from the company itself. Verified Investing says its traders never contact people privately via WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or social media DMs to ask for money. Fake profiles with Gareth’s name exist. Only use the official website and the official YouTube channels.
Strengths and limits of Verified Investing
Strengths
- Free daily analysis with exact levels, several times a day.
- Clear chart method: trend lines, support and resistance, patterns, without indicator overload.
- Experienced host: Gareth has traded his own money since 2004 and explains clearly.
- Many markets: indices, single stocks, gold, oil, yields and Bitcoin in one place.
- Openness: members see the live portfolio and P&L, according to Gareth (not checked by us).
Limits
- US focus: times, stocks and examples are made for American traders.
- No audit found: the track record is published by the company itself.
- Sales pitch: many videos end with an offer for the paid room or alerts.
- Paid room is expensive compared with the free shows.
- Volume: with several shows a day, you need to pick what you watch.
Karsten’s Pick: why I watch Gareth Soloway
I only watch the free YouTube shows, and I find his videos very good. I have not used the paid trading room or the alerts, so I cannot judge them. What I can judge is the analysis.
Gareth does straightforward chart analysis, the same kind I use myself. Trend lines, support, resistance and clear levels: that is how I read charts in my own forecasts. In his shows I see a trader who works with the same tools and explains them without detours.
He is experienced, and he is no-nonsense. You notice his experience: no hype and no talk around the point, just the chart and the level that matters. That is why Verified Investing is also on my list of trading resources I like.
Who is Verified Investing for?
- Beginners who want to see chart analysis applied to real markets every day: start with the free shows.
- Swing traders who want a daily outside view on key levels: the free shows and, if needed, the alerts.
- Day traders in US hours who want to trade alongside professionals: test the room with a day pass.
- Not for traders who want an audited, guaranteed track record, or who cannot follow US market hours.
However you use the shows, treat them as a second opinion, not as signals. Compare the levels with your own chart and decide yourself. If you want to build your own skills step by step, our guides to price action trading and risk management linked above are a good next step after the shows.
