When searching for information for trading strategies, forums are often the go-to place for traders. Forums are great for developing new skills, reading up on strategies along with forming relationships with other traders. One trading forum community that I’ve heard a lot about is Trade2Win. In this article, I’ll give you all the details on Trade2Win.

What is Trade2Win?
Trade2Win considers itself the UK’s leading financial trading forum with more than 250 thousand members. The site has been in existence since 2001 and still features a strong community today. The site’s main goal is to provide a go-to place for traders to converse with each other and learn everything needed for profitable trades.
What features does Trade2Win have?
When you enter the site, you will be land on the forums section, which consists of six forum boards to explore, those being:
Reception
Here you can find subforums perfect for understanding how the Trade2Win site works along with answer general trading queries.
Markets
This section is dedicated to all the markets, including forex, cryptocurrencies and options. The subsections allow you to discuss with traders who are interested in specific markets.
Methods
Here you’ll discover subforums that allow you to understand the areas of trading which can be difficult for beginner traders. One subforum I particularly like is the psychology, risk & money management section, which provides a strong insight into how to improve discipline and fear whilst trading.
Trading Career
This is the place to go on Trade2Win to discuss trading firms, arrange meetups with other traders and even get technical help with PC or Mac issues. I was a little confused as to why the technical help section exists, but from what I could see, it was not very active.
Commercial
The commercial section allows you to explore all areas needed for trading such as which trading software to use, where to find educational resources to which brokers are best to use.
Off the Grid
If you are wanting to gain new friends within the Trade2Win site, this is the place for you. In off the grid section, you are free to discuss any topic non-trading related.
Along with the forums section, Trade2Win has three other sections for you to explore, which are pictured below. I’ll discuss this in greater depth now.
Articles
Clicking on the articles tab, you’ll be directed to a page full of articles for you to gain more knowledge for your trading career. There are two new articles per month written by traders. When you search for the articles, you can clearly see who has written the article. If you find an author who you particularly enjoy, you can explore all their articles by clicking on their name.
The article subjects which you can read about are listed at the side and range from trading currencies and markets to technical analysis and careers. While you can only read two new articles per month, the content within is great and I found them enjoyable to read.
Reviews
This section, I won’t lie, was not what I initially thought it would be. As you can see from the categories pictured below, some sections have more reviews than others. This does make sense as the movies section consists of reviews about movies only relating to trading, which to my knowledge, there are not many that exist.
I would recommend this section to anyone looking for brokers or trading software, although, I must mention that the reviews are quite dated. The most recent review that I could find was from 2015.
T2W Book
Clicking on the T2W book tab, you’ll land on a section where you can purchase an e-book PDF by John Forman, author of The Essentials of Trading who also holds 25 plus years of experience in financial markets. The book, which is called Trading FAQs consists of over fifty trading questions answered by experienced traders and market pros.
The chapters of the book include:
Starting Points
The Big 10
Trading Education
Market & Instruments
Trading Mechanicals
Market Analysis
Trading Systems
Trader Psychology
Brokers
Trading Jobs & Careers
The benefit of the book being an e-book and not physical, allows readers to easily tap on each question to gain the answer you are looking for.
Trading FAQs promises to help those who purchase save time finding answers to trading questions and gain reliable information from professional sources. The book costs $19.95 and does offer a 30-day 100% money-back guarantee.
I did try to see if I could find reviews on the book from external sources, however, I failed to find any. If you are curious about the book, I would suggest purchasing and taking advantage of the 30-day money-back guarantee.
What are the benefits of Trade2Win?
The main reason I’d advise traders to use Trade2Win is to use the forums. The forums have a very active community with many members replying daily. I did also like the articles; however, these are not updated so frequently, but the content created is great.
What are the negatives of Trade2Win?
I personally found the site to be a great resource for forums, but the other areas were lacking. The reviews haven’t been updated since 2015 along with the articles section does not feature much new content per month. If you enjoy reading trading articles, I recommend trying other sites such as DailyForex, Investopedia or Babypips.
What do reviewers say about Trade2Win?
I found it hard to find reviews of Trade2Win that were recent, and the ones I did find were mixed. I found one recent review on Trustpilot that gave Trade2Win three out of five stars and expressed that the trading community was good but needs more users. Another recent review I found was on Forexpeacearmy. It states: “Trade2Win is one of the best trading forums on the web.” The review also praises the site for its clear layout and information from traders in the forums.
Who should use Trade2Win?
I would recommend this site to any skill level, who is looking for a trading community to join. Any skill level would be able to take advantage of learning new techniques from the forums along with reading the articles.
I also think the e-book, which you can get on the site, would be a good purchase for beginners due to the depth of contents inside. The questions range from basic questions such as “How is trading different from investing?” to more advanced ones like “What’s the best technical indicator?”
How would I rate Trade2Win?
In all my reviews, I like to rate websites on a scale of one to five in three categories: detail, ease of use, and fun factor.
Detail – I’d give Trade2Win three out of five. The detail on the forums is good and the community is relatively active, however, I do believe that there are more active forums out there. I did like the detail that the articles had, but they were not written frequent enough for me.
Ease of use – I’m going to have to give this a 5. The website was laid out clearly and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I liked how each forum and subforum was clearly labelled for you to find out exactly what each one was all about.
Fun factor – The site is very similar to other forum sites, so I’ll give it a four. If you are looking for a trading forum site, then you will enjoy this. The forums within the site are entertaining and the community members are interested in helping other members. However, if you are looking for a trading website with more than just forums, this site will not be for you.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who asked me what is a good trading forum site to get involved in.
