Why Kagels Trading Now Publishes in English

Since 2015, Kagels Trading has published market forecasts on kagels-trading.de. Anyone could read them, and anyone could check them against what the market did next.

Until now, those forecasts were only available in German. With this website, that changes.

Who is behind it

Karsten Kagels bought his first shares in 1980 and has been trading actively since 1986. He is the founder of Kagels Trading GmbH in Berlin and trades forex, futures and stocks as a swing and position trader.

What stays the same

The method does not change with the language:

• Top-down analysis. Every market starts on the yearly chart and works down to the shorter timeframes.
• Exact levels. Support and resistance are named at clear prices, not vague zones.
• Both sides of the market. A forecast looks at the bullish and the bearish case, and then says which one the chart currently favours.

What comes next

Over the coming months, this site will add forecast pages for individual markets. Each market gets one page that is updated as the chart develops, instead of a new article every month.

The blog is for everything around the forecasts: chart technique, market background and lessons from more than four decades in the markets.
